Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy explains how Ewimo (“I”, “me”) handles information when you use ewimo.me (the “Site”). The Site is a personal portfolio. It does not require an account, and it does not sell personal information.
Who to contact
Privacy questions: contact@ewimo.me.
Information the Site collects
I keep collection small. In normal use, the Site collects only what is needed to show the pages and to answer you if you write.
- Messages you send. If you email contact@ewimo.me, I receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any files you attach. That address is forwarded to a personal inbox so I can read and reply. If you contact me on Discord, Discord processes that chat under Discord’s privacy policy. I only see what you choose to send.
- Server logs. The web server records standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the Site secure and to fix problems. They are not used to build an advertising profile.
- No accounts and no tracking cookies. The Site does not ask you to sign up, does not run advertising cookies, and does not use a third-party analytics tracker. A click on the Discord button only copies a username to your clipboard on your own device.
How information is used
- To reply to you and, if we agree to work together, to carry out that work.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To meet a legal duty, or to respond to a valid legal request.
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context advertising.
Who else may process it
A small number of providers handle data only so the Site and email can work:
- The company that hosts the Site (the server that delivers these pages).
- The domain and email-forwarding service that delivers mail sent to contact@ewimo.me.
- The email provider that stores my inbox.
- Discord, if you choose to message me there.
Project links (for example rebumper.online, Modrinth, or GitHub) are separate sites. If you leave ewimo.me, their policies apply, not this one.
How long it is kept
Emails are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of a conversation or a piece of work, then deleted when they are no longer needed. Server logs are kept for a limited operational period and then overwritten or removed as part of normal server maintenance.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to tell you what messages I still have from you, to correct them, or to delete them, by emailing contact@ewimo.me. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, to restrict processing, or to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. I will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
If a law where you live (such as the GDPR or a US state privacy law) gives you rights I must honor, I will honor those rights. Some records may be kept when the law requires it, or when they are needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent personal information, email me and I will delete it.
International visitors
The Site is operated from a server that may be outside your country, and email may be processed by providers in other countries (including the United States). By using the Site or emailing me, you understand that your information may be processed in those places.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after that date means you have seen the updated policy.
